What is street food??  Street foods Prepared or cooked food sold by vendors in a street or other public location for immediate consumption.-Oxford Dictionary. Noteworthy a ready to eat food or drink you get on streets or other public places. Currently this food type has crossed borders of its origin, yet holds its originality. And has become street food cavers poison. Mostly having sold by hawkers on carts, also food trucks, or portable stalls and most of all affordable. Because it is a food that speaks of its people, history and culture. Street food has come a long way and consequently come to stay as a:on the go urban lifestyle fuel, almost for all those searching for a quick bite to eat, much as something to satisfy taste buds,probably to taste the region and consequently influence from other parts of world.

Almost every India city has its all time favourite snack as much Delhi loves its Chole Bhature, Mumbai prides on its Vada Pav , Lucknow flaunts its Tundey Kabab, Indore’s mouth waters on Poha jalebi, Assam likes its steamed Dimsum, and the list goes on. But most of all you will discover Indian Street food has come a long way and in present day has Mughlai, Chinese, European and Arabic  influence.
Still it seems like there is space more, for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians with probably equal number of variants.
